What if... (stick with me here) Instead of turn-key booths or lame 10x10 pipe-and-drape spaces, you assigned 5 or 6 attendees to each of your exhibitors for a 2-hour reception and workshop to create the exhibitor's booth display like a science fair? Together, these small groups would cut out, paste, and create displays that showcase what the exhibitor does. Professionals in the field of precision technology from the high-tech and manufacturing #industries will present new products, expand their networks and share their knowledge during the 23rd edition on 13 and 14 November. For many visitors, the Precision Fair is an annual networking event where they meet clients, (sub)suppliers, and even competitors. “In addition to being a trade fair, for many it’s also a gathering where the entire value chain comes together,” says Bart Kooijmans, Program manager of the Precision Fair at organizer Mikrocentrum. Alongside businesses, several major research institutes, such as TNO, and all relevant industry associations are represented at the fair. Visitors have the opportunity to gain new knowledge through an extensive lecture programme. Many of the speakers are also exhibitors, allowing for further discussions afterward. Kooijmans adds: “The combination of these elements creates a pleasant atmosphere at the fair. The networking aspect is crucial."
