We've put together a briefing ahead of today’s debate on the Programme for Government focus on eradicating child poverty. Poverty in Scotland is gendered, with women being more likely to experience poverty than men. Women’s low earnings are a key driver of children’s poverty, which means women’s poverty is inextricably linked with children’s poverty. Addressing women’s labour market and economic inequality is therefore essential to tackling child poverty. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eYXNi9vB
