Singapore 🇸🇬 and Sweden 🇸🇪 collaborate to advance healthcare innovation. NUHS, together with Sahlgrenska University Hospital and industry partners AstraZeneca, Ericsson and Business Sweden has officially launched the Global Health Innovation Network (GHIN). The event was graced by NUHS’ Deputy CE (Clinical Transformation), Adj Prof Jason Phua, Sweden’s State Secretary for Healthcare, Ms Miriam Söderström, Ministry of Health, Singapore’s Permanent Secretary for Policy and Development, Ms Lai Wei Lin, and Singapore’s Minister for Health, Mr Ong Ye Kung. In a panel discussion at the event, A/Prof Reshma Merchant, Head & Snr Consultant, Division of Geriatric Medicine, Department of Medicine, National University Hospital, shared her insights on the role of precision health in transforming healthcare. Adj Asst Prof Yujia Gao, acting Chief Technology Officer, National University Health System, also presented his work in holomedicine and leveraging 5G to elevate patient care. This initiative is the first tangible outcome of the G2G MoU on healthcare innovation collaboration, signed by Singapore and Sweden during the same forum, further solidifying the commitment of both nations to transformative healthcare advancements. I am privileged to chair several panels at the upcoming #PATIENTSFORUM2024 titled "Ασθενοκεντρική Τεκμηρίωση στη Λήψη Αποφάσεων για την Υγεία" (#Patient. Centered #Evidence for #Health #DecisionMaking), which will take place on 13 June 2024. It's organised by #ethosEVENTS in collaboration with the Hellenic Society of Pharmaceutical Medicine #ELEFI (ΕΛ.Ε.ΦΙ.). The conference aims to involve patients in the generation of Greek health data, focusing on the #patientjourney in prevention, diagnosis, treatment and #healthoutcomes. 🌍 Exploring routes to market at ISPOR Europe! 🌍 A key theme in our research this year is the contrasting routes to market between Europe and the US. In our poster, 'Assessing the Value of Digital Health Tools: A Comparison of Methods used by the PHTI and NICE', we provide a direct comparison of Medtech reimbursement routes in the US and UK.
