🌍 Great insight by the team at ELIRE Group in our article about the challenges of transforming a heritage river city like Paris into a sustainable one using new technologies and clean energy. Over the years, I've encountered many amazing emerging technologies in mobility and transportation and witnessed the enthusiasm cities have for adopting and integrating these innovations. It's essential to shift to clean energy and smarter alternatives swiftly to benefit our communities, the planet, and ensure prosperity. But how do we accomplish this? 🤔 Paris serves as an intriguing case study. Leading up to the Olympics, we've seen ambitious projects like autonomous electric ferries and electric VTOL aircraft create significant buzz and excitement. Yet, they often don't fully materialize. For these ambitions to become reality, the entire ecosystem must evolve simultaneously. Supportive policy, regulations, public consent, infrastructure, feasibility, and commercial viability are all crucial components. We're playing our part as a cleantech innovator, offering cities, ports, and societies solutions to adapt, be resilient, transform, and progress. Together, we can achieve a sustainable future. 🌱🔋 #SustainableCities #smartcities #CleanEnergy #Innovation #Cleantech #MobilitySolutions #lastmile #rivertransport
