TRAction’s projects are guided by a set of Pillars developed in conjunction with TRAction’s Indigenous Advisory Council. TRAction envisions a future in which all species have the right to a safe and healthy environment. The team started using the CG Tools in June 2023. The Tools help in tracking their processes with relative ease. TRAction learned that the types of projects they had been exploring - often online events, networking or resource-building and -sharing - had very low carbon footprints. This realization of impact has allowed them to consider future programming, attempting to balance out and minimize live performance presentation impacts with these other, low carbon projects. First EcoMeme for Season 2 going live next Tuesday 👇 If you are still wondering about how this all comes together I’ve written a series of articles explaining the link between biodiversity and digital assets. https://lnkd.in/gzvAtCVm The tldr is that high quality data underlies the integrity of biodiversity credit markets with the most efficient representation of that data being digital. Blockchains offer the means of verifying digital asset ownership using NFTs and are also a less intermediated infrastructure for transporting digital assets to market. Blockchains are public, open and transparent meaning that the flow of money from transactions can be easily verified. This openness also means that token ownership can be used to identify community participation and affinity with groups and causes. This is where the EcoMemes fits in, as a pre-community initiative (I say pre-community because there is something else to follow 😉) which will ultimately link to infrastructure supporting high integrity, community led digital biodiversity credit markets. #naturepositive #naturalfutures
