Most of us don't know the difference between grief in trauma in this life after suicide loss...is it different? YES!! They are very much different. Grief refers to the sadness we feel after our loss, and it changes over time but will always be there because we will always love and miss them. Trauma refers to the "injury" our brain has experienced & it NOT heal on its own. We have to gain knowledge and take action. What reading or learning have you done about the trauma (& often PTSD) that results after a significant and complicated loss by suicide?
