A question - is this very cool Omnia cup half full or half empty?? A pessimist may say one thing and an optimist the other. Some may say it’s not big enough.
What I can say is that hopefully anyone who got hold of one of these at Cereals Event last week had a great experience on our stand and also has great coffee - nothing worse than ditchwater to drink!
We had a blast at Cereals last week - Great teamwork, collaboration and the conversations we had with growers and industry influencers were immense!
Hearing such positivity around a dinner table on the middle night (with company directors and other colleagues) all saying the same is something I will never forget.
Highlights over the two days for me were seeing both potential and existing clients, arranging meetings to follow up and generally noticing everyone busy. If you have a product that people want and need, they come and see it, they engage; they ask questions and want to know more. The buzz was something I have never seen at a show either working on a stand or visiting in my former life as a journalist, and to see people’s faces when I demoed something easier and quicker than they have been used to made it all worth it.
We have had that effect with our EasyPlan upgrade - we haven’t just copied something else and changed its name, we’ve created a revolutionary new way of working for our customers and agronomists, ensuring data security is priority and accuracy of recommendations is even better, plus making life/work balance better.
So am I pessimist or an optimist…. Definitely the latter as the potential for what we have is endless and it’s only going to grow as this industry faces more restrictions to ag chem use, pressure on land, lower margins and scrutiny from more third parties.
As Dan Schultz says (and sorry to paraphrase Dan) but we’re making fans not followers. Join the Omnia fan club today at https://lnkd.in/e3Ze_TrW or drop me a DM for more info.
