Situated just beyond the Non-Road Mobile Machinery London compliance area, we're proud to lead the charge in sustainable practices. 🌱🎥 For nearly 90 weeks, our operations have been powered by Stage V generators, showcasing our proactive approach to tackling air quality issues head-on. By significantly reducing harmful emissions such as Particulate Matter, Nitrogen Oxides, and Hydrocarbons, we're not only safeguarding public health but also alleviating the strain on resources like the NHS. 💨🚫 Our adoption of Stage V generators is a strategic step in our commitment to combating poor air quality, aligning seamlessly with broader efforts to create a healthier environment for all. At Shinfield Studios, sustainability isn't just a buzzword—it's a cornerstone of our business ethos, driving positive change one production at a time. 🎬🌍 Curo Construction has furthered its sustainability efforts at Shinfield Studios by implementing Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) from October 2022 to present. So far, this has achieved a significant 960-tonne reduction in carbon dioxide equivalent emissions compared to traditional diesel use. HVO, derived from used oils and fats, reduces carbon emissions by up to 90%, addressing climate change concerns and actively contributing to the reduction of harmful pollutants. We are taking our RE:3 concept to the next level RE:3 is our umbrella concept for product offerings with a lower built-in carbon footprint, it is short for RE:duce, RE:use and RE:vitalise and it is a foundation for our journey towards a more sustainable business model. We are now levelling up RE:use and our ambition is clear: we aim to streamline the reuse of technical installations - in our case, our indoor climate products – on an industrial scale. The goal is to utilise the products’ full operational lifespan by offering them to the market as reused, with similar conditions as newly manufactured units, but with a significantly reduced climate footprint. Cooperation is key to solve the practical challenges with reuse, it is therefore inspiring to have a number of well-known Swedish property owners join our RE:create community for how to build circularity.
