„It‘s the environment, stupid“. From Berlin to Mexico, from Barcelona to Boise, cities are really starting to face a water crisis! The Water issue is everywhere at Bloomberg #CityLab24. The Climate Crisis has arrived in cities across the globe and its impact is accelerating fast. It is one of my big takeaways: massive investments need to go into mitigation and adaptation at the same time. But we need to make sure, adaptation efforts don’t jeapordise our efforts on carbon reductions. We need #CityIntelligence, smart investments and data-sharing between infrastructure providers to tackle the water crisis in a systemic way and in collaboration with citizens and local industries.
