May is Mental Health Awareness Month (Post 3) Changing perceptions, fostering relationships, and building reputations are endeavors that rarely yield immediate results. They require extensive strategic planning, decisive action, and sustained effort over time. PR professionals must navigate the balance between short-term demands and long-term objectives, often making difficult decisions and executing strategies that benefit both their clients and stakeholders. However, achieving these goals is never straightforward and demands dedication and perseverance. Our leaders sharing their thoughts on #mentalhealth Thanks Neha A. 👍 #mentalhealth #stress #PR #CorporateCommunications Reshma Nandy Priya Bendre Juhi Hajela Neha Kumaar Garg Bhaskar Majumdar Mrinall Dey (He/Him) Bhaskar Majumdar

I have OCD, I love cleaning! No, by God’s grace you don’t have one! #OCD is not an enjoyable ‘personality’ trait; it is an agonizing, repetitive, intrusive thought/ behaviour for the person suffering from it. Any OCD led behaviour comes with debilitating levels of anxiety. Like washing hands repeatedly for fear of germs or arranging items in a particular order. There is cognitive therapy and medication required for OCD. So, the next time you hear someone nonchalantly using OCD for being neat/organized, please ask them not to trivialize the struggle that people with OCD have to go through. Sometimes people show no signs of struggle, but sometimes the obvious signs are there! On Mental Health awareness month, thank you CommsAdda for initiating the fabulous conversations around #mentalhealth As part of the sensitization communication, thought of calling out this cliché. Let's break the stigma, foster empathy, and nurture a community that prioritizes #mentalhealth To more conversations & adda!

I spoke to HRM Asia about senior leaders' role in vocally advocating for mental well-being, sharing their own experiences, and creating a culture where mental health is openly discussed and supported. By doing so, we can build an engaged, adaptable workforce ready to tackle the challenges of the modern world. You can read more about our conversation here https://lnkd.in/gi28P3Uq

𝑩𝒆𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒑𝒊𝒆𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐𝒐! We all know creativity has the power to inspire, to challenge, to move. But the pressure that comes with constant innovation, the emotional highs and lows, and the reality of burnout often go unnoticed. As a panelist at the recent Art Jam’s pull up and Vibe’s session I had the honor of going deep into the unseen side of the creative industry—mental health. In this discussion, we talked openly about: - #𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 💡 - #𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐧𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 - 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 #𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 - 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 #𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 #𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 It was a powerful reminder that taking care of mental health isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. For every creative out there, your well-being is your greatest asset. Grateful to have shared this space with brilliant minds, and proud to represent Nivishe Foundation where we ensure all careers are supported in our mental health advocacy. Together, we’re building a world where creativity and well-being go hand in hand! #advocasybymariam #MentalHealthMatters #CreativeWellness #BurnoutPrevention #ImposterSyndrome #SelfCareForCreatives #InnovationAndWellbeing #CreativeIndustry #WellnessJourney
