Their study is set to explore equity in emergency management, focusing on CERT programs in rural areas. This research will dive into: Perspectives from CERT leaders, members, and local officials, Comparisons of CERT program strengths and challenges across diverse communities, and Analysis of CERT locations in relation to hazard exposure, rural settings, and social vulnerability.
