Here's our thoughts on last week's announcement of plans to put domestic abuse specialists in 999 control rooms from next year. We see this as an important step in protecting victims-survivors, ensuring police response is improved and that support is on offer. But there is still scope needed for better representation and specialist support, especially concerning older victims.
