🚀 For the fifth consecutive year, France holds the title of the most attractive country in Europe! This year, according to the EY “France Attractiveness Survey”, France re-affirmed its position at the top of the European podium in terms of economic attractiveness, with 1,194 investment projects recorded in 2023, accounting for 21% of foreign investments received by Europe. France maintained its lead in hosting manufacturing projects, with 530 projects identified. It also holds first place in Europe for the number of jobs generated at manufacturing sites. France retained its title as the innovation champion in Europe, with 123 projects identified in R&D, and is the leading destination in Europe for foreign investments in artificial intelligence, with 17 projects recorded in 2023. 👏 These outstanding results are evidence of the success of the collective efforts carried out by the hashtag #TeamFranceInvest alongside the regions. Indeed, five French regions are ranked in the top 15 most attractive regions in Europe! The large number of expansions in France (64% of all recorded projects) demonstrates renewed confidence in the country from previously established businesses - a real mark of good faith. 🏭This significant share is directly linked to the high number of industrial projects identified in France in the past few years. France remains the most attractive country for industrial investment in Europe, a leading position it has held for over 20 years. The country has adopted an ambitious industrial strategy that enhanced its competitiveness and attractiveness as a destination for industrial projects. Among them: the sizeable reduction in set up times permitted by the Green Industry Act, significant investments in professional training and technical skill acquisition, and streamlining core sectors. 🔬France has retained its title of European innovation champion with 123 R&D projects identified in 2023. The clear and ambitious vision conveyed through the “France 2030” plan serves as a distinct motivator in the face of increased global competition. It provides clear answers and perspectives for investors, allowing the country to continue prioritizing innovation for the long term.
