10 questions for Wim Krol

Today, Wim Krol tells us what drives him as Sales Manager Benelux and what makes work at Storopack special for him.

 1.  Tell us about your job at Storopack. 

17 years ago I started as for Storopack Benelux as a Distribution Account Manager. During the first 5 years I worked on a solid distribution network. The last years I worked on a solid sales team. The current sales team consists 5 specialists which I support as Sales Manager Benelux.

2.   What does a typical working day look like?

As a typical sales leader, I monitor the results, but I prefer to visit existing and new customers. I am also providing support to various departments within our organization.

3.   What do you particularly like about your role?

I enjoy daily successes and like to share my knowledge with colleagues and clients.

4.   What drives you to work in your area of responsibility?

The Storopack Benelux organization is flexible and growing fast. Working for our organization means unlimited possibilities within our Vision and Guidlines.

5.   What qualities do you most often need at work and why?

In my responsibility I always try to create a pleasant atmosphere. Enjoying your work is the key to success. Potential and existing customers love to work with motivated and creative (sales) people.

6.   What excites you most about Storopack as an employer?

Storopack is an international family owned company.  You feel the involvement of the family under all circumstances. Just think back to the time during the last pandemic.

7.   If you had to describe Storopack in three words, which would it be?

Leading, innovative, honest.

8.   What advice would you give young professionals in your job?

Stay authentic.

9.   What can you definitely not go without in your work day?

Support and cooperation.

10. What hobbies / things do you like to do that make you YOU?

I like cycling. While cycling I can prepare my tasks for tomorrow and switch off. And I love Koi fishes. I understand where the concept of feeling like a fish in the water comes from.
