"To achieve anything, we need each other."

"To achieve anything, we need each other."

In this instalment of our newsletter we're handing over the reins to our founder, Bandish Nayee, the owner of Digital Transformation company 64TEQ® and the brains behind The Curious Mindset which is now a 2000+ strong community of technology leaders and motivational speakers who hail from across the globe...thanking all of you who are part of it 🙏🏼

Over to you Bandish....

I'll admit when I started The Curious Mindset I never imagined we would have achieved so much in such a short time. Having just wrapped up a brilliant "Leadership" quarter I can safely say my vision to make this community the driving force that advances technology leaders worldwide is really now a reality.

All those sleepless nights were worth it. And my wife is still with me, just.

It's technology leaders like Phil, one of our new community members, who remind me why this community really is worth all the energy I put into it...

Now, I'm really not one to talk up my own achievements, although I still have my swimming badges stitched on my sleeping bag when we go camping, but seeing as I have full control over the newsletter I will spell out what we have done so far with The Curious Mindset:

  • We have put on 70 virtual sessions.
  • Given 500+ books to tech leaders in our FREE book club.
  • Delivered 16 Masterclasses.
  • Hosted around 1000 attendees (all technology leaders).
  • Heard from 2 TEDx Speakers, 2 Olympians, 2 record-breaking explorers, 1 comedian, 13 authors, 6 military personnel and 4 psychologists.
  • Put on 2 in-person events with motivational speakers including the brilliant David Mead who was the second person to join Simon Sinek’s team.

This quarter our bookclub has really taken off and we've been so inspired by the comments from our community telling us how instrumental the books have been in terms of shaping the way they lead their teams, but also how impactful some of the speakers' books have been on their own personal lives. Gotta love the power of books 😉

Paul Lindley OBE , founder of Ella's Kitchen, was one of my favourite guests on The Curious Mindset in the early months. His insights and perspectives greatly inspired me to continue growing this community.

My inspiration from Paul continued well beyond his appearance on the show, particularly as I delved into his book, "Little Wins". What resonated with me deeply, however, was his honorary degree speech. He said..

It's the "Little Wins" that stack up...

"Whatever brilliance is within you, it can only get out, only create impact, only ever be found, with the care, time and belief of other people. To achieve anything, we need each other."

These words reflect the core essence of our community. We live these principles, always providing mutual support and ensuring no one ever leads alone. In our community, we help each other shine, fostering an environment where everyone's brilliance can truly make an impact.

In our next quarter, we know we will continue to support this unique community of technology leaders, and we're very excited to announce that we've got an incredible lineup of special guest speakers that includes the brilliant David Heinemeier Hansson - the founder of Ruby on Rails and co-founder of Basecamp & HEY.

If you're a technology leader and have yet to attend a FREE session on The Curious Mindset, we'd love to see you there in our next quarter. It could be the thing that really sparks some positive change in the way you lead.

And no, we don't sell you a thing. That's our promise.

Thanks for a great article and your kind comments Bandish. Especially the bit about 'to achieve anything, we need each other'. As we search for solutions to our personal, professional, national and global challenges it is the 'power of we' in collaboration, alliances, partnerships and open minded sharing that will best find the solutions. Keep smiling!
