The Connacht Hospitality Group recently announced that it has supported charities, not-for-profits, and voluntary bodies to the amount of €122,000 across 2023. The Group was proud to work alongside charities, not-for-profits, and voluntary bodies, including Croí Heart & Stroke Charity, Galway Hospice, Claddagh Watch Patrol, Cancer Care West, Hometree, COPE Galway, and Jigsaw - The National Centre for Youth Mental Health throughout last year

Galway Hooker Brewery and Irish artist Cathy Hughes began collaborating on seasonal beers. Throughout 2024, Galway Hooker will be dropping incredible seasonal offerings crafted by their in-house team – and the cans will feature Cathy’s impressive artwork with West-of-Ireland scenes.

WYLDE's newly launched Offsite Catering made sure everyone at the official building launch of scale-up space Platform94 enjoyed amazing cuisine. The high-end café and delicatessen is now offering their Offsite Catering service where people can enjoy WYLDE's amazing dishes at their special events, from corporate dos to birthdays and other memorable milestones.

Our very own Sports & Social outing took place in February, and as always there was a fantastic turnout as so many team members got together to enjoy a fun evening of karaoke. It was a night filled with craic, high spirits, and camaraderie – another reminder of why we’re such a fun place to work because we always remember to have fun!

We published a couple of interesting blogs on our HYDE Hotel and Residence Hotel blogsites this month – and the theme was focused fully on Valentine’s as love was in the air.

The team at The Connacht Hotel were keen to wear red for Valentine’s Day in aid of Croí – and there was a great feeling around the building on February 14th as lots of people sported their best eye-catching red outfit, and all for a fantastic cause.

At Quay Street’s 1520, a fantastic Tequila PATRÓN event took centre stage in our historical bar. There was an amazing turnout on the night as lots of people got to experience the unique flavour of this premium tequila.

HYDE Bar hosted the amazing Cellissimo Festival launch in February, and it was an amazing afternoon of music, drinks, and great food. Plus, HYDE also announced plenty more amazing Disco Brunches for later in the year, too.
