About Creativity

Yesterday, I listened to an interview with a famous film director. In it, he told the story of how one of his famous scripts was almost not done.

He had an entire summer to write it, so he thought of spending the time at his parents' lakehouse to eliminate all distractions and focus on his writing.

However, he realized he made zero progress at the end of the summer.

He always thought there was plenty of time and kept pushing his writing back.

Scarcity, in the form of either time or money, is one of the primary ingredients of creativity.
