Greatest Hits 2024 Volume One

Greatest Hits 2024 Volume One

"The greatest hits in some weird way marks the end of something." - Sheryl Crow

2024 has been an interesting year.

Filled with ups and downs, we can either revel in its highs or learn from the lows; or both.

In the final two editions of the newsletter for the year, I am sharing with you, my valued readers, the editions I have gotten the most reaction to.

But, before I dive into those, I want to share with you, in case you missed it, that my co-host David Rosenberg and I launched the Elite Business Success podcast yesterday.

The first episode was done initially as a LinkedIn Live and the show will be available on all major podcast platforms as well as YouTube within days.

"Wine is the most civilized thing in the world." - Ernest Hemmingway

Using those letters is provocative and catchy. But, perhaps more importantly, this weekly post acts as a TRIGGER.

Every Friday, for many of us Paul is top of mind as we wonder what wine he and his wife will be sampling this week.

Making Credit Payments Fun

"I know a baseball star who wouldn't report the theft of his wife's credit cards because the thief spends less than she does." - Joe Garagiola

Whether you think buying on credit is a good thing or bad thing, there is no denying that it is a big part of the economy.

In the United States, total household debt is over 17 TRILLION dollars!

From the alluring images companies use to market the good life you can have if you use VISA or Mastercard to the 'for a low down payment you can take it home today' ads car dealers run, borrowing is hard for people to resist.

Farmer Meeting

"Well done is better than well said." - Benjamin Franklin

These days there are a lot of options when it comes to networking.

Heck, the platform you are reading this Newsletter on is, IMO, a massive, worldwide, online, 24/7, business networking event.

The all have their merits, but recently I was playing around with the Combinatory Play method that we teach in our Purposeful Creative Thinking training and I hit upon a unique networking idea.

It requires a little more time and effort than typical networking does, but I believe it will help build deeper connections, faster.

Oh, and if someone were so inclined, I believe it could be turned into a business.
