Hard times make you realise true colours of people around you
You are going through hell of tough times of late and you start wondering why is it that only you get such suffering in your life when compared to others around you and you start understanding their true colours the way they behave with you. Positive psychology suggests different mechanisms for you to stay positive during tough times. The best way is to keep on repeating the mantra “this too shall pass” to yourself. Do as everything depends on you and leave as everything depends on God.
It is my opinion because of everybody fights with the situation as their own priorities. When it rains, the birds try to get the shelter to get rid of that rain but the eagle flies above the clouds to avoid that rain. The problem is the same but the way to solve the problem is different. Patience is the key to success.
Here is a popular story on the subject. Once a king asked his minister, Go and write something on my ring which will help me in happy moments and in the worse moments. One sentence which shall be enough for both the situations. When he came back with the ring, the sentence written on that was, “These days are not going to last forever”. So when you get yourself into a difficult situation just know that nothing lasts forever, not even any new fashion or behaviour of humans or not even any material things that you possess as your own.
The international bestseller "Forty rules of love" has one of its rule narrated as, “Whatever happens in your life, no matter how troubling things might seem, do not enter the neighborhood of despair. Even when all doors remain closed, God will open up a new path only for you. Be thankful. It is easy to be thankful when all is well. It is said that "A Sufi is thankful not only for what he has been given but also for all that he has been denied.”
When you get into a tough situation, try to do the best of your abilities to get yourself out of it and then pray for that particular situation. Do not lay idle and pretend that everything is going to be fine on its own. Focus on solutions, not on problems. It is always easy to assume the role of a victim during tough times than take responsibilities for yourself. So look into the situation and look into your own self so you know when and what actions to take for the personal well being. There are things like meditation, having a healthy diet, maintaining a proper sleep cycle (8–10 hours of sleep) that can help you stay happy and positive in any situation.
"Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results." – Willie Nelson, remember this quote thinking about the life it occurs to me that negative thoughts are more prevalent than the positive thoughts. It takes some serious efforts to think positive while the negative thoughts automatically inhabit your head.
Negative thoughts come uninvited. That’s what makes it hard to deal with them. They dampen the simple pleasure of living and leave you anxious and depressed all the time. If you have always been in a cheerful environment and have been brought up without a struggle, then it can be easier for you to stay positive. But, if you have been brought up in the stressful environment with poverty or other family problems then you’re an easy target for negative thoughts because you see the world through a predominant mindset and perception. Your life is the mirror of your own thoughts!
Your thoughts define your life and the circumstances you are going to fall in. Your life brings only the things your thoughts invite. If you are positive, you’ll attract good things. If your thoughts are negative, your life will take the same shape. It completely depends on you that how you want your life to be. Stay blessed! #kishoreshintre #possessedbywritinspirit
