heart thing to do

[267 words about love… and fast cars…]

Some people get into sales because of the prospect of closing mega deals, humongous commissions and Lamborghini's they will buy for themselves and family.

And the fact is - closing deals is fun and it’s a nice moment in any geographical dimension. But…

Sales is not just closing deals.

In fact, there is a lot going on before closing can happen.

In fact - if what’s before is not working properly, the after is rather poor and often disappointing.

You cannot love sales if you don’t love all its parts.

It's a bit like life. You take it with ups and downs. They’re both yours.

If you cannot have fun doing every aspect of the sales process, prospecting and nurturing and networking and cold calling - you won’t have much closing to have fun with.

If you cannot put all your heart into every step of the sales process, it will only get harder and more difficult, uphill, unbearable.

On the other hand - if you put all your heart, as much love as possible, in everything that you do - sales or otherwise - you will experience the change of circumstances instantly. Even if only because of the shift in your perspective.

Some say that you are supposed to do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life but… the truth is more like - put all the love you can in all that you do because work is love made visible.

Whatever’s visible in your life, whatever materialised - that’s in direct relation to how much love you put into your everything.
