A simple hack to remove sugar cravings.
Battling hunger and cravings throughout the day is a common occurrence. However, if you are tired of giving in to these cravings, then adjusting your first meal could be the key to keeping cravings at bay.
According to research, increasing the protein content of your breakfast can help you better manage hunger throughout the day. A study analyzing the eating habits of nearly 10,000 individuals, revealed that those who consumed a low-protein breakfast tended to eat more during subsequent meals. However, it wasn't just the quantity of food consumed that differed. It was also the quality.
Participants who opted for high-protein breakfasts tended to consume fewer foods high in saturated fat, sugar, and salt.
They also consumed fewer servings of grains, vegetables, legumes, fruit, and dairy.
Interestingly, regardless of calorie intake, those who prioritized protein in their breakfast reported experiencing less hunger and made healthier food choices throughout the day.
To curb hunger effectively, research suggests increasing protein and fiber intake while reducing consumption of ultra-processed foods. This balanced approach can help manage cravings without overly restricting food choices.
Do this in your bedroom for the best sleep of your life.
If you're aiming for better sleep, keeping your bedroom cool might be the key, according to recent research.
If you want the best sleep of your life, then liking it cold in the bedroom is the best thing you can do for your body.

A study that compared regular beds to cooled mattresses revealed that the latter provided participants with longer sleep and an overall higher quality of sleep. Furthermore, they reported falling asleep faster, REM sleep, enhanced recovery and reported feeling more relaxed and comfortable.
Your body naturally seeks cooler temperatures when it's time for sleep as it aids the brain in transitioning into the rest phase. Your sleep-wake cycles, regulated by your circadian rhythm, thrive in cooler conditions, facilitating better rest. Conversely, warm environments can impede your ability to fall asleep quickly, as demonstrated by previous research where individuals using cooling mattresses fell asleep 58 percent faster.
When the body transitions into the rest phase, the brain commands the body to naturally seek cooler temperatures. This, in turn, aids the brain to sleep faster. Your sleep-wake cycle thrives in cooler conditions.
Conversely, warm environments can prove to be an obstacle to your body’s ability to fall asleep quickly.
A cool and pleasant sleeping environment can be achieved by the following:
- Adjusting Room Temperature.
- Blackout curtains
- Opening the window slightly
- Running a fan at night
Aim for a temperature between 60F to 68F and you should be good to go.
