Restoring the Amazon’s health to ensure the well-being of its people
The PONDERA HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION 's initiative in the Ecuadorian Amazon focuses on restoring ecosystems, supporting Indigenous well-being, and promoting "Planetary Health" by addressing the environmental and health impacts of oil extraction, mining, and deforestation. Their Breathe Green project combines reforestation with sustainable economic alternatives to drive ecological restoration and CO2 offsetting.

Ulster University Announces New Consortium to Supercharge the MedTech Sector in Northern Ireland: The Digital Health Technologies Accelerator
Ulster University has launched the Digital Health Technologies Accelerator (DHTA), a £2.5M initiative to drive innovation in Northern Ireland's MedTech sector. In collaboration with Queen's University Belfast , Belfast City Council , and local MedTech companies, the project aims to create sustainable digital health products, improve patient outcomes, and generate economic growth by accelerating research in medical diagnostics and digital healthcare technologies.

The Global Telehealth Community of Practice (GTCoP) will be at the Global Digital Health Network Forum (GDHF) in Nairobi from 4th to 6th December. GTCoP fosters global collaboration among governments, healthcare institutions, and other stakeholders to improve telehealth practices and knowledge exchange.
