Let's Make Your Resume SHINE!

Join my October Resume Challenge and transform your resume from boring to spectacular!

Dear friends,

October is only a few days away.

I have to face reality and pack my shorts and tank tops away until next year.

Fall is here! That's okay; fall is a great time of year.

In the Human Workplace calendar, October is resume month.

This is the perfect time of year to take stock of what you've learned, accomplished and experienced in the first nine months of 2024 - and to look forward to 2025!

And this year I’m organizing a free resume challenge.

I call it the ‘Perfect Resume Challenge’.

The goal of the challenge is to write your perfect resume.

Participating in the challenge is free, and you can join using this link.

Here’s how the challenge works:

Over the two weeks between October 10 and October 24, you'll receive tips, advice and assignments from me personally on how to write your perfect resume.

I'll share simple steps that you can implement immediately.

I’m currently designing the challenge with my team, and we want your input:

What’s the number one question, struggle or roadblock you currently have with your resume?

Comment below or send your reply to info@humanworkplace.com

I will read every single comment, question and email I get.

Let's use this October to make your resume [nearly] as awesome and vibrant as you are!

Here's to you,

Liz

Join my Perfect Resume Challenge here to get my tips, ideas and examples on how to write your perfect resume in October!

Are brief, shorter bullets better than longer ones with lots of detail? How do you approach things when you have a role where the title doesn’t accurately reflect what you do? (ex. I’m currently a Team Lead, but the job I’m doing is closer to a manager or even director level at other companies.

Whoa. It’s rare to see a truly new spin on something these days, and this is such a clever but simple idea for engagement via resume critique, that I honestly can’t believe I’ve never seen anyone use this before!! “Perfect Resume Challenge” immediately made me want to submit mine. Truly some solid social media marketing skills right here 💯
