NEVER QUIT, NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!
I have learnt that NO matter what I face, I will NEVER quit.
I have also learnt that - there is always a way OUT.
Here are 5 things, amongst others, you can do when you face a difficult time in life:
1. Cultivate mental toughness: have a high capacity for pain and pressure. We must intentionally say to ourselves - “until I take my last breath, I will never give up.” To do this, you must be a radical. You must be M.A.D. Normal people do not do this!!!
2. Confront the brutal facts: no matter how difficult the situation may be - deal with it. Relentlessly seek solutions or if need be, find alternatives or improvise. You may need to (i) do some research to educate yourself about the problem; (ii) talk to someone; (iii) talk to an expert for advice (iv) seek help, etc. Believe ME, there is always a WAY OUT!!!!
3. Get on your needs and PRAY!!! Ask God to intervene. Believe me, there are some things in your human flesh you cannot handle. You need GOD. Do not be fooled by the devil or the things of this world. Stay focused until you get to the answer.
4. Be patient and endure: sometimes, even when you have done all you can, there may be NO answers in view. Not to worry, just remain “STANDING.” For me personally, even if the answer is not in view, I remain patient and tell the devil to go to hell where he belongs. Whether I perish or not, I do not care!!! I am confident, I will NEVER perish in Jesus Name. Just like the three Hebrew boys in the Bible, they told the king, we will never give up, even if you try to kill us by throwing us into the fire. Queen Esther said the same thing, if I perish, I perish. Guess what, none of these people perished. Learn to look at problems in the face and tell them to “go and find somewhere to sit.” In fact, when problems come my way, I rejoice in my spirit and offer the problem tea or coffee while I conquer it.
5. Make sure you LEARN valuable lessons from the problem. This is not a “cliche.” Anyone who learns from his or her problem, is a SUCCESSFUL person.
Here’s another book I grabbed at the airport while I was traveling!!! During the flight, I started reading it. It is an amazing book. It simply reinforced a lot of things I already know about being “Resilient.” Reading makes you CONFIDENT!!!!!
