Welcome back! We are pleased to see you in 2024. This is our first issue of the monthly digest for this year, so it's a little bit refreshed and about new things! 

In this issue, we are going to talk about trends and forecasting for the next year and changes brought about by Generative AI, which was sensational last year. 

We asked Volodymyr Semenyshyn , SoftServe President EMEA, how he assesses the market situation now and what to expect from 2024 in terms of technology and innovative businesses.

The manufacturing industry is rapidly changing. In 2024, the focus will shift from the industrial metaverse to practical applications like digital twins and augmented reality. Bringing jobs back home will be tougher, with 30% of big companies slowing down due to challenges in finding skilled workers, adapting to local regulations, and competing globally. Artificial intelligence will create significant advances in banking and finance by 2024. Generative AI, particularly in chatbots, will improve client interactions and enable personalized financial planning. Sustainable finance, digital currencies, and better consumer experiences are important trends. However, issues of safety and ethics must be addressed for successful deployment as well.

Is the initial hype around Generative AI over? 

After a year of booming interest in Gen AI, the perception has shifted, but the hype is far from being over. On the contrary, Gen AI continues to progress in model efficiency and industry-specific use cases. We've gathered the key trends that could guide future assumptions. Watch the higlights:
