WE’RE SICK

WE’RE SICK

(Deutsche Version ->)

-> First thing I want you to do is take a blank sheet of paper and a blue-ink pen.

A disease is spreading, infecting politics, science, business, and everything around us. It has been developing quietly for some time now. Most of us don’t even know we have it—because it makes living our lives so much easier.

This disease makes everyone who suffers from it feel utterly certain about everything they think they know—until a truth bomb explodes in their faces.

BOOM!

  • ‘Hey, guess what! Our way wasn’t the “only way”—and now the competition is way ahead of us!’
  • ‘But… all the models, all the data pointed us in this direction! Why isn’t it working?!’
  • ‘Why didn’t we see this… WHY?! It was staring us in the face the whole time!’

And I could go on and on and on. But I won’t, because there’s ...

A cure

No, you don’t have to get jabbed and you don’t have to practice ‘mindfulness’ either.

When you’re absolutely sure you have the ‘one answer’ to a complicated problem and think you know exactly how to decide, the one thing you have to do is this:

Explain how you’re wrong in two different ways.

This is what is called ‘common sense’. Get it back!

BTW

You can put away the pen and paper for now.

That's all,
