What Does Your Fear Cost You?
“When I decided to step up almost a decade back as a voice of compassion and kindness, there was a huge fear of being judged and ridiculed. But the passion for bringing the message was stronger than the fear”
“There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.” - Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
Fear can be paralyzing and can leave us feeling unable to move forward. It is often rooted in fear of failure or fear of success. When we give in to our fears, we can become overwhelmed with doubt and insecurity. We begin to think that our potential is limited and that we are unable to achieve our goals.
This can be a detriment to our mental and emotional well-being, as well as our career and personal growth.
The truth is that the price we pay for giving in to our fears is costly. We miss out on opportunities and limit ourselves from reaching our full potential. We become so consumed in our own worries that we become unable to open our eyes to the unique gifts we could be sharing with the world. We limit ourselves from utilizing the talents and gifts that are within us.

So how much does fear cost you?
It might cost you the fulfillment of your aspirations, the joy of accomplishing your goals, and the chance to create something unique and worthwhile. It may be costing you time, energy, and resources that you might be using elsewhere. It might also lose your connections and chances since people avoid individuals who show fear and mistrust. Face our anxieties and letting go of the things that have been holding us back might be challenging. It necessitates that we take a step back and examine the issue critically, asking ourselves what is truly at stake. Taking the time to do this may be powerful and assist us in making better decisions in the future.
It is difficult to confront our anxieties and act despite them. Yet if we want to live a fulfilled life, we must be willing to do so. We must be willing to take risks and put ourselves out there, no matter how we are seen. We must be willing to be daring and step outside of our comfort zone. We must be willing to identify, admit, and act in the face of our fears.
We can no longer afford to pay the price of fear.
Fear can be a powerful force. But by being aware of it and actively working to address it, we can ensure that it does not cost us our future.
I am wishing you a day when you are courageous enough to face your fears! Much love, Barbara
