Today, I am going to cover a very tactical thing that leads to people missing out on opportunities.
A client of mine recently was approached for an interview..
The HR gave him multiple options spread across 2 weeks and he decided to take the last option to get as much time as possible to prepare..
Unfortunately, in between the process, the company found a great candidate who had another offer... So they went ahead with that candidate and with apologies canceled the interview!
For all the time he had for preparation, my client did not even get the opportunity to speak with the company.
When doing a job search, being early in the process is advantageous in almost all stages..
