Search Engine Marketing creates Google Domination

Why get ranked on Google?

We're going to share a free comprehensive report for "Why and How to get your website, web pages and other types of listings at the top of the rankings" for all search engines, focusing on Google, as it's the most used search engine.

96% of all visits comes from being one of the first listings that people see on Google.

First I'll tell you the Why and leave the How to the report. Since this is my main business. I always assumed that anyone with a viable company would understand how top ranking would change their entire business plus their lifestyle and even allow them to hire more people, but surprisingly, many still do not.

What I realized is that most people think it's too expensive for them - that it's only for the really big companies, that it will take too long to see results and there are too many people promising too much so they don't know where to turn and who to believe. Since that's most certainly not true any longer, I'll address these issues here.

When people come to me with the small company mindset where they think they aren't big enough or can't afford Search Engine Marketing, I remind them that big companies got big by investing in Search Engine Marketing so that now they dominate the listings for their business. It wasn't the other way around. Imagine what this would do for your company now that we can guarantee you'll be at the top within 72 hours!

First, you have to know your Keywords, which can be one or more words that people will search on to find your business, like "roofing", but they can also be phrases like "St. Louis Affordable Roofing" or "Central Florida Tile Roofing" (which would work better if you used city/town names). But the trick is to use tools like Google Keyword Planner to figure out what people search on in your particular niche. Look up "keyword planning tools" on Google.

Keyword research is too overwhelming for most and too critical not to get right and is included in any SEM package. However, there are many good tutorials if you search for them.

Let's take the "too many, too much" offers issue, but first you have to understand the difference between SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing).

SEO is on-site (or on-page) optimization or placing your keywords in your text in real language and on your images and video.

SEM includes SEO but involves many other methods to get your site ranked. You want to look at examples from anyone selling this to see if they are both current (the Google algorithm changes often) and long lasting (so you know your rankings will stick), and if they have a guarantee that they can get top keywords ranked in 72 hours. This separates the beginners from the experts. We can do it while you're on the phone, but our backlog is much too heavy to guarantee less than 72 hours.

When you see someone promising results from just the SEO portion of SEM, you won't see that anytime soon, and probably never. It has to be done for SEM, but it's just not that productive by itself. You generally do get what you pay for.

There are many different types of listings on Google - Ads, Maps (3-pack) and Organic, in that order. We offer all three but we suggest you start with the Maps and organic listings which will get all your ducks in a row so that when you run ads, you look more professional.

Organic listings include: your website, web pages linking to your website, videos, images, press releases, your social media accounts, business listing websites (ex: Yelp), and many more. These are separate listings so if you get them all ranked at the top, your company is all the searcher sees.

We call getting you each of these listings and shutting out your competition "Google Domination".

Funny story, I clicked on one ad that lead to a website instead of a "landing page" designed to sell. It had video on it, so I clicked through to their YouTube Channel where there were some bad reviews on it. Then I went to their Google listing - I had to type in the actual website to find them, but it lead to some bad reviews as well. They didn't have their free Google Business page set up.

After that, I checked Yelp and several other business listing sites and they had not claimed their business listings and they had no information about the business on the sites and also had unanswered bad reviews on there, as well. First impression: fly by night company that doesn't care.

The home page on their website had no offer for a download or discounted service or free anything, so they had no idea who had visited their page and who was interested in talking with them - no call to action whatsoever. A Chat box or scheduling option would have helped tremendously.

Some of their links on the home page were even broken - plus I could tell it wasn't optimized - their keywords weren't in the larger type, repeated in the text (in real language), and no descriptions with keywords on the images or video. It wasn't organized and had very few images.

Knowing your keywords and having a revamp and optimization of your website are the first steps, and well worth the reward to make a professional appearance. Most companies that do SEM (not just SEO), will do all these things for you (or help you do it), making sure you have your free Google Business page so you get the free "ad" when your company is displayed and that your reviews are addressed.
