Would you like to have greater emotional self-mastery?
Then start by adopting the meta position, which consists of emotionally distancing yourself from events and being an objective observer of yourself, others, and the dynamics that occur.
This is the foundation from which my coaching clients who want greater emotional self-control begin their transformation. In this article, I share what I have learned from these great masters and have seen work:
#1: Be an observer and participant - this is the first significant discovery. When participating in more challenging dynamics, do so with the intention of "observing" yourself. Imagine yourself in a high chair at a distance that allows you to watch what is happening.
#2: Do not force any change - when "observing" yourself, do not interfere. Do not try to improve or change anything. Simply become aware of what is happening. Trust yourself and your system, your unconscious processes. Without effort, significant changes naturally arise from this consciousness at the pace at which organic "reconfiguration" generated by your global intelligence is possible.
#3: Note and integrate developments - the developments that occur this way are sustainable over time because they emerge from your most profound wisdom. It is essential to get aware of the developments you are experiencing, from the most subtle to those that others notice, in order to integrate them. Talking about or writing them down amplifies the degree of awareness and gives them structure. In coaching, I always invite clients to articulate their evolutions as part of a transformation strategy using the meta position.

I believe that no specialist can give you as powerful and personalized a solution as the one you will discover. It is easier if you do it in the context of an executive coaching program. Still, you can also use it without this applied potential amplifier, which is my best way of describing it.
Try it out, and be aware of a potential additional benefit: feeling more relaxed.
