RECIPE - Resilient Infrastructures for the Swiss Energy Transition is a consortium funded under the #SWEET Call 1-2023 on #CriticalInfrastructures, #ClimateChange, and #Resilience of the Swiss Energy System. Our objectives: 🟥 Study potential risks linked to Switzerland’s energy transition and climate change over the next 25-30 years. 🟧 Identify hazards and develop vulnerability storylines for Switzerland's interdependent energy and ICT infrastructures. 🟨 Assess infrastructure hot spots impacting the economy, society, vital resources, and ecosystems. 🟩 Propose resilience strategies that align with energy transition goals. About us
RECIPE is a research project funded by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy SFOE, in the framework of the SWEET Call 1-2023 Critical Infrastructures, Climate Change, and Resilience of the Swiss Energy System. RECIPE studies the risks, associated with the energy transition and climate change, that Switzerland can be exposed to in the coming 25-30 years. RECIPE will identify hazards and develop vulnerability storylines for the interdependent energy and ICT infrastructures of Switzerland. The consortium will assess the hot spots (infrastructure criticalities) based on systemic impact on the Swiss economy, society, vital resources, and ecosystem. The consortium’s ambition is to propose resilience enhancements for the quantified risks and vulnerabilities harmonized with the energy transition goals. RECIPE leverages the complementarities of the academic and industrial partners. The team encompasses experts in risk and reliability engineering, energy networks, economic development, climate extremes, digital twins and machine learning, consumer decision-making, cyber-physical systems, public policy, and strategic climate mitigation. These experts will work closely with communication/energy infrastructure owners, who are also part of the consortium.
