With 10 parks underway and over 250 potential sites identified, the project demonstrates how public-private partnerships can deliver measurable social, environmental, and economic benefits. 💡 Did you know? Last week at the Sustainable Finance Forum in Ottawa, Matthew Kaszel, CFA, Lead Portfolio Manager of our Lynx Global Biodiversity Fund, had the privilege of speaking on a panel with Taryn Abate, Joanna Eyquem, Craig Losos, and Elias Aboutizk, moderated by Lorraine Audsley, about the importance of creating economic opportunities to preserve our greatest asset: Nature.   Matthew also highlighted our investment in WSP, one of the core holdings in the Lynx Global Biodiversity Fund, for being leaders in integrating biodiversity in their engineering projects. The transformation of Santiago’s iconic stadium is more than a retrofit—it’s a collaboration with the community to create a space that balances modern needs with environmental stewardship. Early engagement with neighbors shaped a design that addresses key concerns, from reducing noise and light pollution to improving public transport and non-motorized access. The project will cut water use by 70%, generate energy from solar panels, and plant 2,000 native trees, all while creating a sustainable, accessible venue for everyone. With thoughtful planning and innovative solutions, this project is setting a new standard for how communities and infrastructure can thrive together.
