Please take a closer look if you come to Negombo. I booked two rooms, but when they arrived, they were connected to a suite separated by a door. The surroundings are relatively remote. Breakfast is 3 US dollars per person, but the quality is very good. We originally spent the night in Negombo, and the elephant orphanage the next day, in fact, there is really no need to waste money in the elephant orphanage. Because I only used Ctrip to watch, I feel that Negombo has no good hotels at all. In fact, there are many good hotels here! There are many delicious gourmet shops. But to book this kind of reservation, Ctrip has very few listings.

Great place, clean and really friendly staff. The breakfast is good and we really had no issues at all. Great place to spend a day or two just after landing or before takeoff. It is located close to the beach but a bit far from the center (which isn't too interesting). We took a lagoon tour booked through the hotel and had a great time with a lovely guide and the sunset.
