Very nice hotel, sitting on the balcony to watch the scenery, swimming pool downstairs, snorkeling by the sea, especially there is a big supermarket within 7-8 minutes walk, the hotel breakfast is very rich, and the food in the restaurant is also delicious, it is worth experiencing again.

At present, everything is very good. You can also give your child an extra bed at nine o'clock. It was very inconvenient at the time. I wanted to set up a family room. I couldn't help but have a family room on Ctrip.

For the cost of the hotel, the experience is disappointing as a result of the bad service of the staff. The service of the front desk, concierge and bar staff (all located in the lobby) is very good but once you get out of the lobby everything changes, the staff is not attentive and the service is that of a 2-star hotel. At the pool I had to go out twice to ask for a couple of beers because the waitress I asked for them forgot to talk to other customers (half an hour waiting for a beer), at breakfast the waiters are literally more concerned with cleaning tables than by taking guests' order. The restaurant was almost empty and yet they leave guests waiting for a table and when you finally sit down you have to fight for the waiter to see you and once you do, he asks you to wait and starts collecting dishes from other tables. Outside my room we found the day of our check-in some dirty glasses and plates which were never removed during our entire stay, nobody supervises the cleanliness or the quality. The only thing that is worth it is the view from the pool and the beach, but for the price of the hotel we expected much more, there is a Westin nearby and it is surely a better option.

The view of the hotel facing the sea is very beautiful, and the view of the Makai golf venue next door is also beautiful. The hotel windowsill can look at the sea, and many people surf every morning and evening. Valet parking and resort fees need to be paid to the hotel separately, but are good value for money. The device is indeed out of date, it is still the charger for iphone4, but you can go to the supermarket in Princeville Center to rent a DVD. Soak in the hotel and don't want to go anywhere.

My crew & I recently spent a week at this vacation club. We really enjoyed the time and found everyone at the hotel team to be helpful and quick. As 4 adults, we found the place spacious , well equipped kitchen and loved the balcony. The grounds, garden and pools were really nice and well kept. A couple of times we texted for trash pick up and towel refreshes and the team was there in 10 minutes or less. Jose was super helpful. The hotel beach was nice, we rented an umbrella one day to get some shade. Poipu beach is just a short walk away and there were sea turtles! Lei making class was a fun activity to kick off the vacation. I would say good choices were pretty limited at the hotel and we went out or cooked in the room for most meals. I would recommend this location to others seeking a great place to stay in Kauai.

Lovely and well manicured resort that is perfect for families...it has it all. Fun pools for kids, big plush lawns, excellent beach (swim-able, Hawaiian monk seals, turtles ), and great gym. Rooms are good size. We had 2bd/2bath with a full size kitchen, inside dinning table, and out-side dinning on our balcony. View was of manicured garden, ponds, and waterfall. Numerous out-door barbecues available, no waiting. Beach-side restaurant/bar was good. Food was reasonable and drinks were resort rates. Grand kids gave it a big thumbs-up! Staff was helpful.

The service is impeccable, the environment is beautiful, and the facilities are complete. The hotel is very close to the airport and only arrives at the hotel after the golf course. The hotel lawn is maintained daily, there is a self-service barbecue grill, the terrace is large, and the view from the terrace is charming. Place, the view is very charming, like a beautiful landscape painting, it is worth staying again

One of the best resort hotels on Kauai, go out is the sea, go into the sea, colorful tropical fish swim with you, the hotel has nine suites that are not on the website, you can upgrade when you go, these nine suites are each set There are three huge floor-to-ceiling windows, facing the sea, which is beautiful Moreover, the service staff of the hotel are very professional. Before we went, they called and arranged all the items we wanted to play. Many items on the island could not be booked when we arrived. If we had to go in advance, there was a limit.

The location of the hotel is great, there are many private beaches with clear snorkeling. Snorkeling equipment and beach chair umbrellas are available. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to poipu beach. The service staff is very good. I will upgrade directly to the sea after I leave the balcony. I will watch the sunset and starry sky in the house. The pool is also good. Would stay here again.

We recently stayed for a week at the Point at Poipu, traded in from Maui. We were in building nine (Had stayed in 7 previously) so had a view of the pool and ocean. We were left alone regarding upgrading our timeshare. The last time we were there the pool scene was serene, this time not so much. People have begun the towel gig to save the beach chair while they aren't there. Also some very rude patrons. On the weekends the pool was full of kiddos so was kind of hectic and chaotic. The bar had a small menu but everything you need when you don’t want to go out. The bartender was welcoming and gave us some good tips. We walked the beach walk almost daily and saw the turtles floating in front of our room morning and night. Kauai was relaxing. The complex is a bit outdated and it’s a long walk to some buildings but the positives certainly outweigh the negatives. The are doing a remodel from what we could tell. We always found a parking spot. The staff was polite and helpful. Would definitely come back for that amazing view!

We purchased a Hilton Grand Vacation Club VIP package thinking it would be of similar quality to our Marriott Vacation Club. In response to a pre-arrival email, we requested an ocean view & also informed them of my milestone birthday during our stay. Was told our request & my celebration were noted. Upon arrival we were very disappointed! Our view overlooked the roof of the activities building. The room is in need of a major renovation with water damage on the exterior. The furnishings are out dated and the rooms are musty. Fortunately the mattresses were fresh, comfortable & linens clean. There are noisy AC units in the bedrooms but no AC in the kitchen/living room. The pool is a wading pool, like a giant kiddie pool. If you like to swim or do deep water exercises you’re out of luck. Deepest part of the pool is 4 ft and that is only a small area. Most of the pool is only waist deep. There’s only 1 restaurant, a bar/grill at the pool with a limited menu. Parking is far from the rooms, plan on hauling your stuff. Luggage charts are only available if you call a bell person. Hilton failed to impress us. This was a promo package & they gave us their worst unit. So, we won’t be buying into their program.

Two of the six stayed in Kauai for ten days. I stayed at the hotel the first two days and decided to try it out. The experience was good. I stayed for four days and wanted to end my flight to Maui. Let's discuss it and want to stay, and live for another four days. The hotel's early breakfast package is $ 20 per person per day at the restaurant, and the rest is paid for itself. The breakfast is good. On the second day we checked in, we found that the kitchen equipment in the room was very good, so we went to the supermarket on the island to buy the ingredients to cook for ourselves. We made potato shreds, chili fried meat, tomato scrambled eggs, green pepper eggplant, and corn paste. I cook porridge, cook rice in a small stainless steel pot, and use Japanese hot sauce in the supermarket with pancake rolls and scallions. The man in the Chinese stomach is more satisfied. In the spare time, I went to the online red bookstore on the island and bought the English version of the first version in 1999. Liberty, and a net red cat. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool, but there is no beach. We ran to the nearby Sheraton Hotel beach every day to watch the sunset and play water surfing. The hotel room has a three-seater sofa for adults to sleep, and extra beds are available for free, but we only use the sofa. bed. The hotel has free parking and it is very convenient to park anywhere. In short, we will miss here.

Really nice units everybody was very friendly the maids are so nice and helpful. Just wish the price would be a little better for the locals more reasonable by far the best pools.

Honestly, I had high expectations for this location. I did get an email after I booked this hotel that there would be inconveniences from certain construction work. When I arrived the property is beautifully manicured. Staff were friendly and cordial. At my room I walked in and no bed. Wasn't the same picture as what was on the web site. Just a couch but thought there was a next room. Nope. Turned out it was a ”Murphy bed” Never slept in one, wasn't shown how to get it out of the wall. but I figured it out. Danger, It is heavy and for someone a bit more disabled, if it did fall on me, there would be no one around to help. First you have to remove all the couch pillows (all of them). then you have to re-arrange the two coffee tables to the side of the room. You pull down on the small knobs and hold the bed with your shoulders while you lower it. You will have to reach up with your arm to bring the iron rod over the end of the bed. This rod is the brace footing for the front of the bed. You must do this before it is lowered to the floor. After that, you can untangle the mattress. The pillows are in the closet so you have to fetch them. I was worried it would be another futon experience, you know hard uncomfortable. For me, because I am disabled, It would of been nice to have assistance. The phone in the room was difficult to figure out and did not work properly. When I finally got a line to the valet the intercom sounding voice was hard to comprehend. I couldn't call using my phone because there was no cellular service from my room. Overall, the hotel is dated. A once magnificent hotel when built is aged, carpet aged, furniture aged. I hope the upgrade includes a total hotel refresh and just not the pool area. I would recommend they put in the description of the rooms it is a murphy bed. To me personally, this was not acceptable and I worried about my own safety while manually moving a large wooden wall panel down that was heavy. I wouldn't book this room if I had known. I don't know how many rooms at this hotel had murphy beds, but please mention this in your room descriptions. I would rather see a regular bed frame in my own opinion and my own wellbeing because I am disabled. Secondly, when swimming my room key got lost. I noticed it when I was deep into the hotel at my room. There are no service phones anywhere on my floor (3rd) to call for help. Remember, no cellular service. I had to re-walk to the other side of the property to the reception desk to ask for replacement key. They wouldn't give me a replacement unless I had a physical ID.Everything was in my room. I walked back to the other side of the property back to my room.Security met me at my room to open my door so I can go in and get my DL. Is there an alternative way to get replacement keys like face recognition on your phone, implement remote key from your app (hilton does) or a better method? Not recommended for people with disabilities if there is a murphy bed. Beautiful proper

This resort is ”just OK” with some good, some bad and some indifferent qualities. We own at the Maui Marriot vacation club and overall the Maui location is definitely much higher quality and in a much better location. The good - rooms are updated, well furnished and comfortable. However, the overall feel of the resort is odd, you get lost a lot, there is no flow to it. The property is shared with another resort, which has a grand check -n lobby. The Marriott has a small dark room off the main courtyard where you check in, which is very odd. The area around the resort has not much to offer, nothing to walk to or enjoy. Pretty much you drive off in a car or that is it. I like a place you can walk to nice amenities, restaurants, shops, etc. Not here. The bay is nice, but its not the wonderful open Pacific of Hawaii. You have to struggle to get a room on a floor with a decent view. The entry hallway to our tower was a utility walkway, not something inviting as a nice resort should be. Oh yeah the parking. I was assured there was plenty of nearby self parking. Well true unless you come back from dinner after say 9 PM, no parking so you need to pay the $30 a day for valet. And they fail to tell you there is an overflow lot you can use. Dining options are scarce and average. Pool area is OK, not terrible, not great. Want coffee and something in the morning to grab? There is one small place, and it closes at 10, with the next place not opening until 11. So if you want anything from 10 to 11, forget it. You need to time when you want your coffee. Overall, just very average to below average for a Hawaiian resort. We will definitely NOT be back. Marriott needs to up its game in this location for sure.

there were fees that were unexpected , I was not aware of the fees. Thought with a $1500 cost it would be included. I know i will not be staying at the Cliff again. And at that cost I still had to do dishes and vacuum and wash towels. will not mention the cliffs to family and friends.I did like the shower heads, and that there were handicap showers for my auntie.we did request a shower chair , which help her shower. I did not like all the chickens and the mess they left behind and noise.some areas needed more lighting on the walk way and the signs with room numbers. needed more lighting on the main drive inn entrance .we were told to open the sliding glass doors for a nice breeze, but did not feel good while sleeping.didnt feel safe leaving drapes wide open, for security reasons.your trash situation needs improvement, trash area always full that includes the recycling area.the walk to the cliff area was great and had a nice view, sat there for hours and enjoyed the view.the pool area was nice and clean and security was alot nicer and excerise room was nice and clean.

Good access: 10 to 15 minutes drive from the airport. Good for convenience: There were several malls nearby and restaurants, markets and shopping centers were close. Car parking: Overall good, but there is no space after 9pm so you have to use the valet service or walk along the street. Overall, the facilities and location were too good for the price. A hotel that impressed us as a honeycomb.

It's not what it seems. It is a hotel that has very good things and others not so much. When we arrived we were given a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. We had booked a twin room and were told this was Trip's problem. That they only guarantee the views. All the furniture is wooden and very old. The old sofa, with a thin mattress and perforated sheets... Finally the next day we were changed to a room with two beds (and sea view) which was much better. However, the furniture was also old. It is advertised here that the cleaning of the room is daily but it is not true. They clean only one day for stays of at least 5 nights. If you are staying less than a few days and you want the room to be made for you, 50 USD. If you want clean towels, 10USD. The hotel does not have elevators, so you have to carry your bags up the stairs to the room (on the floor you are on). Just arriving they charge you 147.45USD in taxes (amenity fee, ta tax, ge tax, county ta tax...). Good: Prime location, in front of (private) beach, with restaurants, supermarkets and shops next door. The main road is right there. Swimming pool with hammocks and a bar (opens at 3pm). There is a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave in the room.

This hotel is right in the middle of everything. Easy walking to restaurants along the beach or shopping in the area. They now have air conditioning in the units. After reading negative reviews we are happy to say there is now a/c, we found a nice beach area to set up chairs and play in the water. Sure there are lots of chickens and roosters but they add to the charm of the area. They did not keep us up since we had a little portable fan to help with noise. Very quiet in the evenings. Down side the pool was cold so we didn’t go in it.

The hotel is quaint and calm—away from hustle-and-bustle of Lihue proper. Pros: Solitude. Beautiful lush mountains and the view is gorgeous. Scenic overlook on way to hotel. Pool towels available. Staff very courteous. Linens and bath towels changed daily. Microwave and fridge/freezer. Target and Costco are close a couple of miles to stock up fridge. Live music in evenings was a very pleasant touch and musicians were great. Shout-out to Sheldon Espina. Cons: Don’t let the pool photo sway you as this is a dated hotel and needs work. Our room had broken louver shades, rusty and dust-covered lamp. Very run-down dirty bathroom. I am a stickler on a clean bathroom and this did not come close. Mirror cabinet very old and swelling/peeling /decrepit on the top. Cabinet under sink dirty and gross. Fixtures and curtain rods old and rusting. I had to wipe down the shelf above toilet fixture before placing our toiletries and extra towels there. Mildewy shower curtain. Bathroom curtains dirty and need to be discarded. Air conditioner loud. Continental breakfast: Juices were sugary drinks. (Actual fruit good, however). One coffee maker out of order for the entire week. No pancake or waffle maker or breakfast meats . Fyi you should rent a car to get back and forth for an extended stay. Uber is costly.
