The Judo in Australia Participation Plan commits to fostering an environment where everyone, regardless of age, ability, or background, can find a place in the sport. Using the ASC Play Well Planning Framework, it was officially endorsed by all state and territory federations at their recent annual general meeting. #PlayWell | Judo Australia

If change takes time, we’ve given it 40 years. But change does not happen of its own accord. “Change takes leadership, commitment and action. I’m optimistic with the people and expertise in this room, we are now in a very good position to drive change. The future of Australia’s High Performance 2032+ Sport Strategy and the commitment to #WinWell is in good hands, after athletes, leaders and coaches came together to officially begin Horizon 2. #Paris2024 gold medallists Noemie Fox, Vanessa Low OAM and James Turner OAM were among the almost 200 representatives from 51 sports and organisations who took part in the day at the Australian Institute Of Sport. Horizon 2 will run until after the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2026 and will focus on converting and embedding the work of Horizon 1 across the high- performance system.
