🎭 A Proud Moment for Belvoir St Theatre 🎭 Belvoir St Theatre was out in force again last week, presenting to our peers across the Australian Arts industry at the Tessitura TLCC 2024 Conference! We had three of our brilliant team members present, including:   Fiona Hulton, Deputy Executive Director, Marketing, People and Community, who presented a keynote in the TLCC Innovator Series on how creative ambition can coexist with cultural and community responsibility, highlighting Counting and Cracking as a case study on how theatre can be a place for connection, healing, and representation. Samantha May Jones, Director of Development, presented on how Belvoir raised $1.5m in 12 hours with our wonderful 2023 Giving Day which ensured we could renovate our foyer and build more toilets for our patrons. And Gemma Clinch, Customer Experience and Ticketing Manager, presented on Belvoir’s process of training and onboarding our ticketing teams to supercharge them to success. Thank you so much TLCC for having us! It was also so wonderful to present and learn alongside our industry friends and see the brilliant work each Australian arts organisation is doing across the industry. See you at TLCC in 2025!

TLCC Sydney kicks off in a few days! 🎉 We have some inspiring content in store for you at this next #tlcc2024. Our Innovator Series session will feature two member stories of creative collaboration. ⭐ Reinventing the orchestra Based in Bristol, Paraorchestra creates ambitious and critically acclaimed orchestral work infused with emotion, innovation, and artistry. At its heart, the orchestra provides a platform for professional D/deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent musicians and composers to perform. Our first-ever THE HIVE Networking Event ✨   Last Thursday was our first-ever THE HIVE Networking Night, where we gathered passionate young theatre enthusiasts and emerging philanthropists for an unforgettable evening of networking, inspiration, and support for emerging Australian artists. 🎭   THE HIVE is Belvoir's giving circle that champions the next generation of creative talent. What an incredible journey it has been during our first year of collaboration with The Women's Club, Sydney. Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting TWC for a performance of "Well Behaved Women," a powerful and inspiring production that beautifully showcased the strength and resilience of women throughout history. This occasion served as a poignant reminder of the transformative impact that occurs when women come together to support and uplift one another.
