About us
Incu is a retail destination, a considered curation from around the world, a community and a culture representing fashion, innovation and lifestyle. Established in 2002 by twin brothers Brian and Vincent Wu, Incu began, like many great things do, as a simple but powerful set of ideas. Inspired by their love of travel, international brands and emerging Australian talent, the brothers set about fusing these into retail concepts that would be at once innovative, personable and unique. Incu strives for a store experience that is dedicated to detail and the desire to exceed expectation. 15 years after opening the first store in Galeries Sydney, Incu has flourished in to a multi-faceted business with interests that extend well beyond the realms of fashion. Incu has become a diverse and united community of customers, staff, suppliers and partners. We don’t pretend that we’re reinventing retail, but there are small, significant things that we do that make us different from other retailers. When it comes to customer service, we pride ourselves on not trying to mimic anyone else, we are uniquely Incu. We want everyone who comes into our space to have a great experience and to feel invited and comfortable in their surroundings. We believe the best way to approach customer service is to be genuine, down to earth, warm, humble and inviting.

Last week, we launched our gifting campaign - The Gift of Gathering. The holiday season is a time when we come together with family and friends to celebrate our connections and create lasting memories. Shot in our Rosebery HQ, the campaign celebrates the things that make the holidays in Australia unique to any other part of the world - enjoying the warm weather, meals with fresh summer produce and a relaxed sensibility. To celebrate the launch of our campaign, we hosted a Community BBQ with friends, partners and brands of Incu to say thank you for their support this year. This season Incu is embracing the feeling of home. "Each season we think about the story we want to tell and the parts of ourselves we want to explore... This campaign focuses on what it truly means to feel at home — not just in a physical space, but in being yourself and feeling connected. It’s like when you find that perfect shirt or pair of shoes, and it just feels right. It’s about ease and comfort, knowing everything fits, effortlessly falling into place, with that familiar sense that you’ve found something that feels like you". -- Luke Davie, Creative Brand Manager. Our Spring seasonal campaign was shot on location at Daylesford Longhouse in Victoria, with a cast that included friends and staff of Incu. To celebrate the campaign launch, we invited our store teams and head office to bring in home-baked goods to share amongst each other. A big thank you to our Creative and Marketing teams, and our collaborators, who brought the campaign to life. At Incu, we believe in fostering a supportive and open environment, especially when it comes to mental health. To mark R U OK? Day, we sent out Kit-Kats to our team, encouraging them to "have a break and have a conversation." No one should ever feel alone or ashamed in their well-being journey, and we’re committed to encouraging meaningful conversations. Whether it's in the workplace or with friends and family, let's make mental health a priority today and every day. A simple check-in can make all the difference. #RUOKDay #MentalHealthMatters #SupportEachOther #IncuCommunity

At this year's annual managers conference, we focused on reinforcing our core company values of Human, Optimism, Curiosity, and Balance. The event featured training and development sessions aimed at enhancing our manager’s leadership skills and fostering a collaborative culture. We welcomed the amazing Sophie Firmager back from Realised Potential Group who did an insightful session on Feedback and The Black Dog Institute returned with a workshop on how managers play a vital part in ensuring Incu is a mentally healthy place to work and how to identify and mitigate psychological risks. We were inspired by insightful presentations from our guest speakers, Artist Carla Uriarte, Birkenstock Brand Ambassador Ann Gibbons and jumping on a zoom from Copenhagen, MF PEN designer and founder Sigurd Bank. All three speakers shared valuable perspectives on innovation and entrepreneurship. Once again Incu Edits was on the agenda- when you have such a diverse and good-looking bunch of managers, why wouldn’t we do a second take?! A big thanks to Luke Davie, Karli Butson and Shakirra Gream for facilitating. A highlight was a memorable awards dinner at Café Freda’s which is co-owned by Carla Uriarte so was the perfect location to celebrate our collective achievements and recognised outstanding contributions within our team. The buyers presentation was a hit as usual with a lot of "ooooohs" and "wows" echoing through the room. The same enthusiasm was shown to our Incu Collection team when they went through their latest collection. Great work by the team Sarah Kirby, Fabienne McCreary, Jeremy Molcanovs, Livia Bordoli and Oliver Bingemann, Ash Chari and Samantha Chan. We mingled, we mixed, we laughed, we discussed. MC 2024 done. Thank you for everyone who contributed!

This week, we launched a multi-channel campaign with Salomon to celebrate their latest collaboration with SANDY LIANG. Combining Sandy Liang's unique aesthetic with Salomon's performance-driven design, these sneakers offer a perfect blend of the tough and the delicate. Partnering with photographer Phillip Huynh, we shot the collaboration on furniture and object designer George Davies at hake house of art in Sydney. In addition to the content, we partnered with multi-disciplinary creative (and ex Incu team member!) Vanessa Nguyen to create an installation for our QV Melbourne store, which was also celebrated with an event at the store. A big thank you to the team at Salomon and the whole Incu team for their support with this campaign. 🌟 Celebrating Volunteering Week 🌟 This week, our Marketing, Creative and Warehouse teams along with some friends from Buffet had the privilege of spending the morning volunteering with our charity partner Thread Together. This incredible organisation is dedicated to providing brand new clothing to people in need, supporting dignity and hope in our community. The team sorted donations, packed clothing parcels, and witnessed first hand the positive impact Thread Together has on so many lives. We're proud to support Thread Together and encourage everyone to find ways to make a difference during Volunteering Week and beyond. Thank you to the team at Thread Together for the opportunity to support your mission.
