Starting his career at a young BIM consultancy, David quickly honed his skills in computational design, parametric modelling, and digital engineering, sparking a passion for innovation in the built environment. His journey continued at Kapitol Group, where he further expanded his expertise in BIM, focusing on construction sequencing, VR, and coordination. Notably, he developed an award-winning ‘Purchase Order’ application that streamlined procurement across the company. David’s commitment to driving change and his hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies will be invaluable assets to our team. Project Update | Airport Toyota Expansion | Essendon Fields Matter is thrilled to partner with Airport Toyota on their exciting move into a new custom-built facility at 365 Wirraway Road. Set within the EF Auto precinct, this standout development will feature a 2,500 sqm showroom and a 2,000 sqm workshop, designed to serve the community and advance automotive innovation. The Matter BIM team produced highly detailed steel framing models for this project, enhancing construction efficiency and design precision throughout. Once completed, this facility, visible to over 3 million cars monthly on the Tullamarine Freeway, will further cement EF Auto's reputation as a premier automotive hub. Matter is Riding to End Youth Homelessness On November 15th, we’re joining the Healesville Tour de PIF: Tour for Homeless Youth - a cycling challenge dedicated to raising funds to provide young Australians facing homelessness with a safe, secure home. Every night, 46,000 young people experience homelessness and half of them are turned away from accommodation services. Through the Property Industry Foundation, we have a chance to make a real difference. Every donation helps build much-needed housing and provides ongoing support for young people in need. Project Update | Little National Hotel (LN) | Adelaide, SA Matter Consulting is proud to support the Little National Hotel (LN) project in Adelaide, working alongside Synergy Construct as the appointed builder. Construction has begun and the project is on track for completion in Q4 2026. Located at 100 North Terrace, the 21-storey development will feature 238 premium rooms, including a mix of standard LN rooms, larger suites, and two luxury penthouses - a new addition to the brand. Signature elements like wall-to-wall windows, super king-sized beds, and Byredo amenities will provide guests with the compact luxury experience LN is known for. Health and wellbeing are key to the brand, with a 250 sqm gym on level 2, fitted with Technogym equipment. Crowning the property, the top-floor bar and lounge will offer 360-degree views of Adelaide’s cityscape, creating a perfect space for both business and relaxation.
