Hi Folks There are still spaces available for the Victorian Department of Health funded IPS Core training onsite at SHARC from Wednesday 11th December to Tuesday 17th December, 9am to 5pm. On November 5th, 2024, our local Federal Member for Higgins, Dr Michelle Ananda-Rajah MP, spoke in Federal Parliament and commended SHARC. Dr Michelle is on the committee for the National Inquiry into the Health Impacts of Alcohol and Other Drugs. She is an award-winning researcher, co-founded Healthcare Workers Australia, and currently works in politics to drive meaningful social change. Her speech centered around providing a constituency update on services that have made a difference in the electorate and beyond. This is a wonderful acknowledgement of the great work we do and of her support of SHARC. We are thankful for her vocal support of SHARC and to all those in our community who empower us to continue our work.
