Textile Exchange Conference Recap 🌟 Last week, Matthew Haggerty,Di Haggerty and Bec Hamersley embarked on an exciting journey to Los Angeles for the Textile Exchange Conference. The adventure began on Monday evening, just an hour after our arrival in LA, with a fantastic dinner hosted by The Woolmark Company . It was an incredible opportunity to connect with brands and fellow wool producers, setting the perfect tone for our week ahead! Tuesday morning kicked off with the Producer Breakfast, where we met textile producers from around the globe, all united in the mission to create more sustainable fibers. We then dove into Day 1 of the conference, capping off the evening with a vibrant cocktail event to further expand our network. Wednesday brought Day 2 of the conference, where we immersed ourselves in workshop discussions on regenerative agriculture. We explored its crucial role in crafting a sustainable fashion industry and the transformative power of direct collaboration between brands and producers. Thursday marked Day 3, starting with the Nature and Climate Impact Awards ceremony at breakfast. We were thrilled to receive the Ryan Young Nature and Climate Impact Award for our commitment to producing luxury-grade wool in harmony with nature. Later, Matt and Di, alongside Aditi Mayer , took the stage at the Producer Spotlight to share our journey with #naturalintelligencefarming. We highlighted how it revitalizes our landscapes while delivering premium sustainable fibers for the fashion industry! The conference was an extraordinary opportunity to forge connections within the industry and explore how we can bring Natural Intelligence Farming®️ wool to more wardrobes near you. It was truly inspiring to witness the passionate discussions around the role of regenerative agriculture in fashion and the drive to strengthen partnerships between brands and producers! #naturalintelligencefarmingwool #naturalintelligencefarmingfibres #naturalintelligencefarmingproduce #regenerativeagriculture #regenerativefarming #regenerativefibres #sustainablefashion
