This fantastic annual grant program is now open. The deadline is a little earlier this year, on 7 April 2025. Eligible nonprofit organisations can apply for community-based projects focused on conservation and sustainable management of natural resources in WA. The funding pool available is $7m. The program has supported more than 450 grassroots nonprofit and community group projects to date. You can request $1,000 - $5,000 in the small grant round and $50,001 - $450,000 in the large grant round for more complex projects. To prepare an application, first consider if you are eligible by reading the grant guidelines, also take a look a previous recipients to assess your competitiveness, and preview the application form.
