🎉 Congratulations to Karel Bolckmans, our Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, on being elected as the new President of IBMA - International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association, succeeding Herman Van Mellaert from 1 January 2025! At today's Autumn General Assembly in Basel, Karel was elected with an impressive 91% of the votes, officially confirming his role. We are thrilled to announce Bart Sosef's appointment as President of the Plant Products division at BioFirst Group. Bart, who currently serves as General Manager for Biobest Nederland B.V. and Sales Director for Benelux, will join our Executive Committee. Bart brings 30 years of industry experience, an MBA in Food & Finance, and a strong background in e-commerce and IT projects. His dedication and customer-first approach make him the perfect fit for this role. As President, Bart will focus on strategic growth, expanding our sales force in Canada and the USA, and leading the transition to sustainable alternatives. He will also drive financial health and oversee the integration of our entities in Mexico, Poland, and Austria.
