🇪🇺 Given the significant challenges rare disease patients in Europe face when accessing specialised care, it’s crucial that they understand their rights and the legal frameworks that protect access to essential medical treatments. ⚖️ The non-profit organisation Pierre Robin Europe launched the 'Rare Disease Access to Care' campaign to raise awareness and implement changes in EU law to facilitate access to care for millions of rare disease patients, all across Europe. 🩺 They are dedicated to empowering patients with the knowledge to navigate cross-border healthcare options within the EU.
