Sleeping in Cars 2025 – We’re Back! 🚗💙 Last year, the ACM Designs team braved the cold, slept in our cars overnight, and raised $13,151 for places for people haliburton highlands Sleeping in Cars initiative—helping fund affordable rental housing in Haliburton County. This year, we’re taking it even further. Not only are we fundraising again, but we’re also proud to be the presenting sponsor of the 2025 event! The funds raised this year will go towards a 30-unit build, a huge step forward in addressing housing scarcity in our community. Housing insecurity impacts us all, and we’re committed to making a difference. If you’d like to support this cause, please consider donating at the link below. ACM Designs partied hard last night at the Decorators & Designers Association of Canada Awards Gala! To top it off, we walked away with FIVE awards! It was a night full of laughter, networking, and celebrating one another’s achievements. 🎉🏆 Having our work recognized by a peer review panel of industry experts just makes it that much more rewarding. The judging process is not just based on how pretty the final project is, but all the hard work that goes in behind the scenes. What happens when you combine power tools, teamwork, and a group of unstoppable women? A nail-biting weekend. This time last weekend, we loaded up our sleeping bags and stretchy pants and hit the road to Camp Timberlane for Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region Women’s Build Retreat! From s’mores to poutine and all the laughter in between - it was a true privilege to sponsor this event and raise money for new affordable housing options in Haliburton County.
