To address rising concerns around per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) issued a Notice on July 27, 2024, requiring certain businesses to report details on their PFAS usage.   A Guidance Manual is available to help businesses understand their reporting requirements, including who must report, what information is needed, and how to submit it. Businesses targeted in the Notice that manufactured, imported, or used PFAS during the calendar year 2023 must submit their reports through ECCC's online system by January 29, 2025.   You can access the Guidance Manual by clicking on the link below.
