Merry Christmas from the Prince Rupert Port Authority! To share in the spirit of the season, our Harbour Patrol crew recently delivered gift baskets to mariners aboard vessels visiting and working around our port. This annual tradition is a small gesture of the immense appreciation we have for the dedicated seafarers and other gateway workers who keep vital supply chains flowing throughout the holidays.

The Port of #PrinceRupert is serving as a testbed for Innovate BC's latest #IntegratedMarketplace initiative, aimed at enhancing environmental monitoring processes in port and terminal settings. #SustainableSupplyChains #OperationalEfficiency
Through the #IntegratedMarketplace program, delivered by Innovate BC, Gitxaala Environmental Services (GES) in collaboration with Shift Coastal Technologies Ltd. is launching an environmental monitoring project to boost efficiency and sustainability for operations at terminals and ports. Through this project, GES will leverage Shift’s new Port Environmental Monitoring Platform to collect critical ecological data, like seabed disturbance and water quality, in a safer, more cost-effective, and accurate way, with less environmental impact. This data will support environmental protection, monitoring efforts, and maritime project planning, among other key applications. ➡️ Learn more: https://loom.ly/EdrFwtE #InnovateBC, Pacific Economic Development Canada | Développement économique Canada pour le Pacifique, Canadian Coast Guard/Garde côtière canadienne, Harjit S.
