📈 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆? At the 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗗𝗣 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 hosted by B Lab Switzerland and InTent at the SDG Tent in Davos, we asked global leaders: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀? The ‘Zero Draft’ provisions on #sustainablebusiness and finance legislation are vital to mobilize the private sector for #sustainabledevelopment - ensuring their accountability for national implementation of UN frameworks, and supporting governments to achieve their development priorities. At the Beyond GDP Forum during #WEF25 in the SDG Tent, powered by B Lab Switzerland and InTent, Sandrine Dixson-Declève highlighted the urgent need to rethink GDP as the sole measure of success. She pointed to the devastating impact our current economic model is having on both the planet and social justice. 📊 Her message called for new metrics that go beyond economic growth to prioritise sustainability and social well-being, urging us to rethink how we measure prosperity.
