Shaping the future of a more sustainable food service sector, together with Valley partner ZFV-Unternehmungen 🤝 Earlier this month, Christina and Katarzyna (Kash) from the Valley team joined two special ZFV-Connect partner events to talk about the ZFV-Living Lab. So what's a Living Lab? A unique platform that allows startups, early-stage companies, and educational institutions to bring their innovative ideas to life and test them in 200+ ZFV locations. 🤩 Over the last few weeks, we've teamed up with the ZFV team to power an Innovation Call to find startups that are eager to test their innovation in a real food service environment and co-create a pilot project, together with ZFV experts. The ZFV and Valley teams are now busy reviewing the submissions received. Unhealthy dietary patterns drive $8 trillion in annual hidden costs of global agrifood systems 🌍💰 The FAO's State of Food and Agriculture 2024 report uses true cost accounting to expose the full range of costs and benefits associated with food production, distribution, and consumption, including those that are not typically reflected in market prices – the “hidden costs and benefits”.
