A huge challenge of getting an AOC and one that often doesn't receive the attention it really deserves is that of building an Approved Maintenance Programme. This complex project is something that requires care, diligence and experience. LUMINAIR is so lucky to have all of those qualities and more in our wonderful CAMO director Rene Schlüter. He did a frankly astonishing job of getting our maintenance programme approved in just a few months from his start with us, working closely with our colleagues at the Luftfahrt Bundesamt in Hamburg. A huge thanks to him - now that's done he has the fun job of finding some aircraft parts - please wish him luck! #CAMO #noAOGplease

After 10 months of dedication, perseverance and a bit of luck, the four of us - David Bergold, Alexander Stevens, Algernon Trotter & Julia Feddern are thrilled to announce that we have finally received our Air Operator Certificate. We’ve learned so much on this journey, and now we can’t wait to take your passengers on the journeys that matter to them.
