While we tried to focus on our partnership and value to our publishers and advertisers, we didn’t do a good job of showcasing who we are - a purpose-driven company who challenges norms around consumerism, progressive leadership models, and even how we work and care for our people. We wanted a site that showed a more authentic (and exciting!) version of us. We are thrilled to launch our new site - one that we feel better portrays who we are to the world. Our branding 🎨 When we rewrote our narratives, we also felt we needed a new look to match the new way we portray ourselves in the world. So say hello to our fresh new look 🤩 We crafted a brand and a logo that mirrors our company’s perpetual motion - always evolving and always on the move, just like us. It is an ode to our constant transformation and a reminder of the playfulness and joy that change brings. But even with this fun new look, not everything is changing! We are still acutely focussed on long-term partnerships with our publishers, providing industry-leading expertise, and creating the best and most trustworthy couponing platforms for all our users. Transforming Lessons into Goals 🥅 Now that the new year is underway, it's time to get to work! But first, we want to transform some of last year's lessons into goals for 2024. It's all about growth, collaboration, and adapting to ensure not just success but well-being for all of us. So, let's unpack some of the key points on our list! 1. Scaling Business and Synergies 🤜🤛 As we grow, so does our circle of collaborators. New opportunities and synergies within the industry become available. We need to welcome these possibilities and not let them slip away. 2. Rethinking Processes 🤔 If we are going big, we have to think big. Processes may need to be reimagined at scale while still innovating. Things don’t need to stay the same just because we are used to them. For example, migrating 100% of our infrastructure to modern and green cloud platforms to enhance our procedures, forecasts, and processes! 3. Operational Understanding through Regionality 🗺️ Not everyone works in one office or country. Our differences in time zones need to be addressed. A focus on regionality may ironically help keep the whole team more connected and united. Our global operational infrastructure has to support it. 4. Flexibility is Key 🤸🏽♀️ Deadlines are important, but so is adaptability. We're giving ourselves more room for flexibility during projects, allowing time for necessary adjustments and making it far less likely to get stuck. 5. Good Communication 🗣️ This is an important one. We must take time to know each other and ourselves. Only once we understand who is on our team and how they work will we be able to truly self-organize. Self-reflection is key. What are some things you want to achieve this year? Vegas Proves That Innovation Is the Main Game in the New Year 🎲 2024 is upon us, and things are already speeding up. 🚀 We have just wrapped up the Affiliate Summit West in Las Vegas. Our goal was to expand and strengthen our network, continuing our efforts to build the most forward-thinking and future-friendly affiliate marketing technology together. In Vegas, our team was excited to see that the coupon space is vibrant in the US and globally. We had hundreds of valuable meetings with advertisers, agencies, and networks that have left us excited for the new year. Does a modern company still need a headquarters? 🏢 At Savings United, we operate a very remote team. Its members are spread across the globe, working from home for the most part. Yet, we felt the need for a hub. We found one in Hamburg. ⚓ It's a space where we can accelerate our creativity. Located in a dynamic port that is in constant movement, the space encourages our progress and innovation. This office serves as a center for our international staff to “dock their ships” and meet up. It’s a unique and magical location to create, work together and share memorable moments. But, as we gaze at the container ships passing outside our windows, we are reminded that some of those containers carry goods we've helped sell .The consequence of improving prices is increased sales and inadvertently contributing to global pollution. This constantly causes us to reflect on our role in shaping responsible consumerism for the future and recognize the waves we might create downstream may disrupt nature’s delicate balance. ⚖️ For now, we're content to have a place we can call our own. And, we also want to own up to our responsibilities in the industry. Our doors are always open.
